Is it either false that a person has free will or it is false that God controls everything?

If a person has free will, then a person determines their own actions.

If God controls everything, then He determines the action of a person.

If He determines the action of a person, then it is false that a person determines their own actions.

It is false that a person determines their own actions and it is false that a person determines their own actions.

Therefore, it is either that it is false that a person has free will or it is false that God controls everything. Is it either false that a person has free will or it is false that God controls everything?
no games oh please

GOD HAS THE ULTIMATE DECISIONS

you get freewill for this lifetime then it runs out...Is it either false that a person has free will or it is false that God controls everything?
These two points are a contrarity, not a contradiction. So it is not valid to assume that one is false if the other is true. Before we can make that assumption we have to define the first statement within the context of the second; i.e. ';Freewill means freedom from the providence of God, the laws of necessity, natural law, cause and effect, etc.';
That is exactly right.

It is also false to say that God is All Knowing and free will exists.

They cannot coexist. If God knows the future, then he created Lucifer knowing he would sin and create the need for Hell and eternal damnation for most of mankind. That makes the theory of a Loving God impossible as well.

Too many inconsistencies for any of it to be true.
yes a person does have free will and god does control everything the situation will stay the same but depending on your choice of action from your free will the out come will be different each time.
Nowhere in the bible does it mention free will. Many times throughout the bible it discusses god's predestination. Yet christians think they have free will. But they can't show us scripture for it!
free will. God controls what He owns.
Study ';Fractal Geometry'; and you will mathematically see how both can happen simultaneously.
Free will does not exist.

Romans 9:18

So then He has mercy on whomever He wills (chooses) and He hardens (makes stubborn and unyielding the heart of) whomever He wills.
Gods do not exist, and neither does free will.
I believe in free will, myself. But I understand your point that free will and determinism are mutually exclusive.
I'm sorry but did you just repeat that line you got me confused.
It is false that God controls everything. God relinquished control when He gave human beings free will. Which is why we are totally responsible for our own free will decisions. Which is why it is inappropriate to ask ';why did God let this happen?'; when some human beings commit an atrocity against others.
neither is false to me. i had this explained to me once as an essay a teacher assigns you to write. they will tell you how long it should be, what format to use, what the theme is, and then helps answer your questions or mistakes. this is the role of god. you, the writer, then fill in the blanks and come up with your story or essay based on what the teacher specified, but the writing is still your work, isnt it? you still choose what is put to paper when-you just have some guidelines. free will is there, so is a divine power.
